If a rider elects to compete in 50 percent or more of the races, their AMA Pro Racing provisional license will be upgraded to professional license and amateur status removed. Provisional LicenseĪMA Pro Racing Hillclimb Provisional License will allow a current amateur hillclimb competitor, with the qualifications listed below, to compete in up to, but no more than, one race less than 50 percent of the AMA Pro Racing Pro Hillclimb sanctioned events, while maintaining their amateur status in American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned event.
